Workloading is the foundation of a successful cleaning plan. The strategy and plans are what determines the who, what, when, and how of cleaning needed to meet customer expectations. A workloading strategy provides an opportunity to rebuild the current cleaning culture to one of efficiency, innovation, balanced workload, and high-performance thinking. Benefiting front line cleaning workers involved with performing the cleaning functions as well as those that are tasked with making, and defending, custodial staffing levels. The goal of workloading is to provide a mathematical and factual basis for stated custodial staffing levels in relation to customer and management expectations of clean.

The certification course covers the basic operations of managing and operating a laundry/linen service in a hotel and healthcare setting. Participants will gain knowledge in textiles, chemicals, machines and mechanics, quality control, federal, state, and local regulations will be reviewed. The course will also cover OSHA and healthcare Joint Commission Accreditation requirements.
The IEHA Boot Camp is a comprehensive, accelerated review of IEHA’s Professional Education Credentialing Program (PECP), the top credentialing and certification program for professional cleaners. Participants will be guided through the 16 individual modules included in the PECP over a one-day period. The training course helps participants learn strategies for effective communication, management and to better understand the science behind Why We Clean. Upon completion of boot camp, participants will have the opportunity to test for their Certified or Registered Environmental Services Executive designation at the end of the class session. All participants must successfully pass a comprehensive exam with a score of 80% or higher to receive the credential.
